Standalone Games

These are some of the standalone games I've made, primarily as a solo developer. This includes some more fully-featured prototypes or game jam games.

These are made using Clickteam Fusion, an engine that uses visual scripting and geared towards rapid prototyping.

2D Games

  • Platform: PC, Android
  • Project Length: Multiple
  • Role: Solo developer
  • Tools: Clickteam Fusion
  • Design: In games where I wasn't the sole developer, I participated in a cooperative, iterative design.
  • Art: In games where I wasn't the sole developer, I contributed animated and static 2D art assets.
  • Development: In games where I wasn't the sole developer, I was tasked with the core development tasks given my familiarity with the tools (Clickteam Fusion).

Pyroclastic Flow (2013, Android Release 2019)

Pyroclastic Flow is a solo-developed infinite runner with two modes of play - a standard beat-your-best score mode with no additions, and a progression-based "elements mode" where the player gains abilities through continued or repeat play. Originally released on the Kongregate platform, it was ported to Android in 2019. You can download the Android version here (.apk download).

Prancing Pirates (2015)

This was a game jam game re-built and polished for a PC release. The game is a cooperative four-player single-screen platformer themed around bailing out a sinking ship. The original design was a cooperative project, but mechanics of the game itself were my work. When re-built, I re-did all the art with my own art.

Space game prototype (2014)

This is a solo-developed vertical slice prototype of a 2D shmup with intra-level player progression. Several features were prototyped, including gravity-based weapons for manipulating but not destroying enemies and procedural boss battles.

Melody (2013)

This is an infinite runner built for a game jam themed around a pianist dancing her way through a musical composition. I built the underlying mechanics and made some minor art contributions.
